Darwin for independent dietitians

Software for dietitians to track the patient's real intake

The three-day food recall the patient fills out in the waiting room does not describe their week. What describes it is what they log at mealtime.

Under active development. Features are still in development. Professional accounts are not open yet; join the preview list and the team will share availability when it is ready.

The problem

Where remote coaching usually breaks

  1. 01

The patient recalls the whole week in the appointment, and recalls it wrong.

  2. 02

The plan is built on estimated expenditure, without knowing how much they actually trained.

  3. 03

Every follow-up restarts the investigation, because between appointments no data arrives.

In practice

The plan is yours. We deliver the real data so you can calibrate it.

  • Nutritional intake assessment and diet builder on the athlete's real intake and load.

  • The athlete's intake arrives by text, photo or voice, with the Brazilian food database (TACO).

  • Clinical notes and patterns, released by the athlete's LGPD consent.

  • The signature and the responsibility are yours: the app tracks, you are the one prescribing (Law 8.234/91).

  • Marketplace to attract new patients who already train on Darwin.

How it works in practice

From the first connection to ongoing coaching

  1. 01

The patient logs what they ate by text, photo or voice, and the app resolves it against the TACO table.

  2. 02

You build the plan in the builder seeing the real intake and the training load of the same week.

  3. 03

Per-meal options let the patient choose without leaving the macros you set.

Product limits

When Darwin is not the right choice

Darwin does not prescribe a diet for you and does not replace your signature. Technical responsibility for the diet prescription belongs to the dietitian (Law 8.234/91). If you are looking for an automatic menu generator with no professional in the loop, this is not the product.

Direct answers

Independent dietitians: frequently asked questions

Consultas e prescrição

What software does a dietitian use to track the patient between appointments?

What is missing between appointments is intake data. On Darwin the patient logs the meal by text, photo or voice and the app resolves it against the TACO table, so the dietitian opens the follow-up seeing the real week, not the remembered week. The training load of the same period appears alongside.

Who signs the diet prescription?

The dietitian. Technical responsibility is yours, under Law 8.234/91. Darwin tracks, organizes the data and delivers per-meal options within the macros you set, but does not prescribe for you.

Alimentos e treino

Does the app use a Brazilian food composition table?

It uses TACO, the Brazilian Food Composition Table, to resolve what the patient logs. Brazilian food enters with the Brazilian value, not by equivalence with a foreign database.

Does the dietitian see the patient's training?

They see the load, within the contract scope and with the athlete's consent. This matters because expenditure changes the plan: the week of a patient who ran 60 km is not the week in which they ran 10 km.
